God is in the business of bringing people together! We are celebrating this fact as the recent wedding celebrated at the children's home of our partner in India highlights this beautiful aspect of God's character.
Through the woven together family of the children's home in India, Karthik and Ramya met. They were both orphans brought into the children’s homes and their lives have not been easy. They each have their own stories of pain and abandonment, but God has and is redeeming their stories for His glory.
The two fell in love and we celebrated their life-long commitment together with the staff and children from the home, as well as the January India team from the United States. The Director of the children's home and his wife, whom Karthik and Ramya call mom and dad, were given distinguished roles during the wedding ceremony.
God is creating and restoring relationships— family relationships, sibling relationships, friendships and romantic relationships, in new and unexpected ways, weaving His people together in a beautiful tapestry that gives us a glimpse of the beauty of heaven.

It was a special honor for the U.S. team to be able to attend the wedding. Many people on the team have decades-long relationships with the staff and children at Berachah.
Every year, the team gifts the children and staff with a special celebratory meal. This year, the meal they gifted served as the wedding meal!
We are so happy for Karthik and Ramya and know that God has so much in store for their lives and marriage. We pray that their marriage and life's work continue to reflect the beauty of their wedding, bringing connectedness, community and joy wherever they go.
